How to Reset Your WordPress User Password

If you’ve forgotten your password or need to reset it to access your company’s website employee portal, don’t worry—it’s a simple process. Follow the steps below to regain access.


Step 1: Go to the Login Page

  • Navigate to your company’s website employee portal login page.

  • At the bottom of the login form, click “Lost your password?”.


Step 2: Enter Your Username or Email

  • You’ll be prompted to enter either your username or the email address associated with your WordPress account.

  • Click “Get New Password” once you’ve entered the information.


Step 3: Check Your Email

  • WordPress will send you an email with a password reset link.

  • Important: This email will come from WordPress but will also show your company’s website name in the subject line or sender information.

  • If you don’t see the email within a few minutes, check your Spam or Junk folder—sometimes these reset emails land there.


Step 4: Reset Your Password

  • Open the email and click the link provided.
